松鶴樓
Three complete websites for the same restaurant, built from its real menu — one hundred and sixty-one dishes across twenty-three sections — and its real photographs. Same facts, same prices, three different arguments. Each one is finished; pick the argument, not the parts.
The name on the sign means Pine Crane Pavilion, and pine and crane together are the Chinese emblem of long life. This one is built entirely on that, set like a printed menu.
The menu really does run two parallel kitchens — a P-numbered Peking side and a C-numbered Cantonese side, each with its own banquet ladder. Here that structure becomes the site.
Night on Hawkwood Boulevard: the fascia lit above an empty parking lot, then the room. Thirty years told as something you move through.
